apostille - legalization verification

Working or Conducting Business Transactions Overseas

If this is your first or fifty-first time working or directing an international transaction, the process of obtaining one or multiple notaries and Apostilles, Authentications & Legalizations can be tedious and time consuming. Our job is to work through this process on your behalf in order to save critical time and allow you to focus your efforts on other pressing matters.

Apostilles

An apostille is the legalization of a document for international use in countries that participate in the Hague Convention of 1961. A list of countries that accept apostilles is supplied by the US State Department. If the country of intended use does not participate in the Hague Convention, documents being sent to that country can be authenticated or certified.

Legalization

When dealing with countries who are not part of the Hague Convention of 1961, legalization may require multiple agency verification. We have experience working with many international consulates. We determine what requirements are needed based on the type of document while understanding the challenges as each country has its own set of rules and considerations. Being centrally located in Chicago, IL, with additional relationships in Washington DC, we work to get the job done as quickly as possible.

Countries that are part of the Hague Convention of 1961 receive an apostille that we can help obtain from the Office of the Secretary of State.
